Christmas is a time of celebration and love, of joy and of giving. Unfortunately, there are many less fortunate members of our society who do not have the privilege of loved ones to share this time with, or the means to give and in turn receive. With this in mind, our Grand Master once again challenged all Lodges in the country to give the less fortunate something to smile about this Christmas by donating cookies to them, setting a target of 2000 kgs of cookies for the whole country.
The Northern Division Lodges embraced this challenge with vigour and put together a magnificent effort of 2130 kgs on its own. The brethren then went out to a variety of old age homes, orphanages and places of safety to personally deliver the cookies and a message of hope and love to all concerned.
The following photos are a record of some of those interactions. We would like to extend a huge thank you to our brethren and their families who helped collect, pack and distribute these treats. We value your hearts.
